Research site: Language on the Move

Language on the Move (ISSN 2203-5001) is a peer-reviewed sociolinguistics research site devoted to multilingualism, language learning and intercultural communication in the contexts of globalization and migration. The site aims to disseminate sociolinguistic research to a broad global audience.

Language on the Move was co-founded by Ingrid Piller and Kimie Takahashi and is currently edited by Ingrid Piller. The team consists primarily of doctoral candidates in sociolinguists based at Macquarie University and is complemented by contributors from around the world.

New contributors are always welcome! If you are interested in contributing to Language on the Move through writing a research blog post or through translating sociolinguistics into other languages, please get in touch. All research blog posts published on Language on the Move are subject to review.
